You lucky devil,
you have made it down to the secret part of the newsletter, the part that I put so low that i wonder if anyone will even see it. That's why it's so exciting to be down here. I feel like a kid.
I won't even be re-reading what I am writing here, it's just crazy talk, absolute madness stuff.
Down here I am going to put what I am thinking about, my ideas as you may call them. Thoughts, ideas, dreams, businesses, ventures, fantasies, fairy dust, whatever.
There are a few floating round in my head - they stay there sometimes, other times I forget them. That's the beauty, the good ones stick around and grow into something more. The other ideas turn out to be something else, like a conversation to have or a book to buy. The others end up being projects, or books or businesses. i think anyway.
Ideas in my head (my sieve)
walking community to get people out rambling together. make rambling cool and fun, and give people a community to get walking with
the great british clean up. there is so much rubbish on the streets. we should get everyone to get a gopher and go out and pick litter. a big army of litter pickers
diary of an entrepreneur (book) - a bit like "this is going to hurt" the book about the nhs doctor, but for an entrepreneur, I'd use my old journal entries. it'd be a good book.
impact venture fund. raise lots of money from rich people and invest it into businesses doing good for the world
Routledge's Champagne. Absolute madness, but a modern champagne brand to encourage people to celebrate, have a label on the back you can write on a remember the moment (literally stolen from Ed Sheeran - sorry mate!)
I heard once about this company like a not for profit that got diverse talent into politics. I can't find it anywhere, but that would be great. All UK PMs go to Eton which is obviously really bad for many reasons so what about some sort of community far reaching into the depths of british society to then get different people into politics.
I've always wanted to be a cereal entrepreneur. Literally Cereal, how good would that be
I've always thought that it'd be great to build my own home, like a proper eco home, sustainable and all that, in a community, then if you get it right crate a property development company and make better homes for people to live in communities.
If you have made it this far, thanks?
I imagine what I will do from now on is kind of update the ideas bit and over time see what emerges as something for me to do next. It's all absolutely petrifying and invigorating.
